How does payment work?

You pay a small advance (15–20% of the total rental cost) at the time of booking. The remaining balance is paid directly to the rental agent when you pick up the car. Accepted payment methods (cash or card) vary by vehicle and are shown on each car's booking page.

What documents do I need to pick up my car?

You'll need your original passport (or national ID for EU citizens), a valid driving licence, an International Driving Permit if required by local regulations, and your rental voucher (printed or on your phone). All required documents are listed on your voucher.

Is there a security deposit?

Most rentals require a security deposit, which varies by vehicle. The average deposit is around €300, though some cars require no deposit at all. The exact amount is clearly shown on each vehicle's page before you book. The deposit is returned after the car is brought back in the same condition.

What insurance is included?

Insurance options (such as CDW and Third Party Liability) vary by vehicle and are shown on each car's details page. You can review exactly what's included and add additional coverage during booking. We recommend reading the insurance terms carefully so you know what's covered.

What's the fuel policy?

Return the car with the same fuel level you received it with. If you return it with less fuel, you'll pay the difference. Note: there is no compensation for returning with more fuel than you started with, so try to match the level.

What's your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup. After that, you'll be charged 50% of the rental cost. No-shows are charged the full advance payment.

Are there mileage limits?

Mileage allowances vary by vehicle. You can check the mileage limit in the specifications section of each car's listing before you book. Some vehicles offer unlimited mileage.

Can I add a second driver?

Yes. You can add an additional driver as an extra service during booking. The rental agent will need to verify the second driver's licence and documents at pickup.

Can I drop off at a different location?

Yes, one-way rentals are available in most locations. Simply select different pickup and drop-off cities when searching. Any applicable fees are shown upfront.

Are child car seats available?

Yes. You can add a child car seat as an extra during booking. If it's listed on your voucher, it will be in the car when you pick up.

Can I drive across borders?

Cross-border travel depends on the vehicle and the destination country. Some cars and countries do not allow it. Check the "cross-border" option during booking, and always inform the rental agent in advance so they can prepare any required documents.

Will I get the exact car I booked?

You should receive the car you booked. In the rare event it's unavailable, the rental company will provide a vehicle of the same or higher class at no extra cost.

What should I check at pickup?

Read the rental agreement carefully. Check the acceptance certificate for any pre-existing damage and verify the fuel level. We strongly recommend photographing the car from all angles — especially any existing scratches or dents — before driving off.
